This Corner lot in the Woodstock Neighborhood backs into an alley which allowed NWV to build right to the back property line. We were able to build in storage for the ADU and for the use of the main house. We were able to do concrete finished flooring, natural wood doors and exterior sleek contemporary design.
The home owner had been working on their ADU vision for a couple years and reviewed different design options. We connected through a previous ADU client and we were able to value engineer and to pair their vision with a manageable budget. The home owners are looking to have family stay with them throughout the year and use it as a short term rental while family is not visiting. A 3″ rigid foam insulation around the slab foundation, concealed by custom fabricated metal matching the home’s color, further enhanced energy efficiency and aesthetics.
